Chi Sao

Chi Sao, is often translated into english as "Sticking Hands" or "Sticky Hands". Chi sao is a training exercise that teaches and enhances the players contact reflexes.

Regardless of ability, this drill trains the practitioner's sense of touch. Chi Sao training gives the practitioner a heightened sense of awareness and allows one to feel and adapt as the hands of their opponent change.

Chi sao is often refered to as physical chess, as it employs as much of the mind as it does the body.

Fighting Instinct, adaptation, speed, timing, and a unique self awareness are all assets that Chi sao ability provides a practitioner with. All arts that utilize this training method will continue to evolve because of it.
